Short Mat Bowling

Over 60s Norfolk

Essex Over 60s Shortmat Bowling Group are playing against Norfolk Over 60s on the 5th July at Hingham Norfolk. I have been a bowler for over 18 years it is a very social activity, many friends made. I wonder if any Laindon or Basildon members will be amongst the 40 Essex Group? Perhaps we can make contact on that day.

I am over 60, and now live in Norfolk, yet despite there being short mat bowls played in our village hall, I don’t participate.

Further to the visit from Essex over 60 bowls club, I met up with a few people from Billericay, Ramsden Bellhouse and also one person who was born in Dunton, lives in Billericay, had a good talk about Langdon Hills. Return match on 30 August at Marconi Social Centre.
