From Salisbury Avenue the Waters crossed the Railway to Northumberland Avenue then walked on towards St Nicholas Lane.

I would think my mother was at home looking after me as I’d have been a baby. I recognise Mrs Smeed in the centre of the photograph wearing a brooch. Was the gentleman on the back row 5 along named Blondie? Is the lady to the left behind the man with specs Lou Coleman?
