Photographs from Bob Moore

The following was received from Patsy Mott at this morning’s Memory Day at Laindon Library:-

Some time ago, I found these photos that had been given to us to put on the Laindon & District Community Archive website.  Bob Moore thought they would be interesting to add to the collection of local pictures.

Any comments about the local lads and lass would be welcome.  Is there anybody out there who remembers any of them or knows of their whereabouts?  All information welcome.

Photo 2.  Stan Harvey and Peter O’Rourke, March 1953, posing with their trusty steeds by the Fortune of War roundabout.  It’s amazing how sparse the traffic appears to be on this March day in 1953 on the A127 Arterial Road.
