The Great Cowes Eatate

Any Information on the Title

The Great Cowes Estate, an area of land between St Nicholas Lane and the A127 and Pound Lane to Laindon High Road. Possibly a plotlands area. This estate was formed around the late 1800`s – early 1900`s. I did have a layout plan which showed Claremont Road and the others around there. This area was divided up into 20 feet wide plots. My old house, The Vicarage, stood on 5 plots, 100 feet. During this time my father sold off half and Chase Royal was built. The plot numbers, I think were 112-116. Any info on this may be found in the old deeds of property in this area.
