Mr Parents, Mr and Mrs Jones lived in a bungalow called ‘Mandalay, in Third Avenue, Dunton from 1952 until 1961. I was born after they moved out, so have no memories of the place.
I know a few years back they said how they enjoyed being there, the winter months used to be thick with snow. They had some friends there called Ken and Jean Newbury (I think that’s how their surname was spelt) and they were very good friends to my mum and dad. The photo was taken in the 50’s.
The last photo is one of my brothers again where mum had entered their picture into a newspaper/magazine which is nice as it has their ‘Mandalay’ address on it.
