Memory Day 26th January 2019.

Our first Memory Day of 2019 was a huge success. Around 35 people attended Laindon Library for a morning of shared memories and stories. Several new arrivals were warmly welcomed and were soon chatting with our regular members.  As always, tea/coffee and biscuits were served half way through the morning.  An encouraging start to this year’s Memory Days, which have become a regular social event, the next of which will be on Saturday 23rd February in the Library.

Our meeting on Saturday 30th March has now been confirmed as a combined Memory Day/Annual Display and will take place in The Manor Mission Hall (not the library). Starting at 11 am and finishing at 4 pm.  Please bring along any photos and stories that would be suitable to add to our archives’ website.  We are always most appreciative of new material to enjoy and share with our members.

Hope to see many of you again very soon.
