The 2018 Annual Display will take place at the Manor Mission, Manor Road, Laindon, SS15 6PA on Saturday 31st March from 11 pm until 4 pm. Please come and join our get together to see some old photographs and memorabilia. Maybe meet and chat with old school friends and neighbours. Enjoy a cup of tea and slice of cake and generally have a jolly good time. This event replaces the Memory Day for March. We look forward to seeing you all on the day.

It is nice to read about the work your orgainsation does. Pity you are so far away would love to visit. My parents migrated to Australia in 1949 and I can remember my mother as a child talking about Laindon. During the war years when my sister was born and also trips by train into London. My Mother’s Father grew flowers that he took into the markets weekly.
