Dr John Z Garson of ‘Bethume’, High Road, Langdon Hills (Surgery at ‘Hiawatha’, High Road, Laindon) emigrated to Canada with his family in the mid-sixties. In 1968 the family’s address was 1028 University Drive, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Dr Garson’s family were his wife Ruth, daughter Nicole (Niki) and Susan (Suki) Both girls had attended Langdon Hills, Primary School and appear on the school’s 1961 long photo.
Oldest daughter Nicole (Niki) did very well in Canada and became a Barrister. By 1995 she was living in Vancouver, British Colombia. She went on to become Madam Nicole J. Garson, Judge at Supreme Court of British Columbia. Very well done to Niki for her achievements.
I managed to find an up-to-date photo of her and when comparing this with her school photo, it is clear to see that she had hardly changed at all. (Niki is No. 26 on page 3.)
