Our memory day on the 30th November was the last for the year and it was a bumper one with over 30 people attending. As well as our regulars there were a number of new faces and these kept Colin busy all morning scanning their various photographs and documents. We run out of hot water for tea and coffee on at least two occasions but as usual, our helpful Library staff came to our rescue.
As you would have gathered, we have a break for Christmas but look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in the New Year – Saturday 27th January- with many of your stories and memories of Laindon, Langdon Hills and Dunton or just for a chat and a cuppa.
So have a Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year – from the Archive team.
