Memory Day October 26th 2019.

Twenty five people attended October’s Memory Day at the Laindon Library this morning, at least five were on their first visit. A busy, fun morning was enjoyed with a much appreciated break for refreshments on a chilly, wet/windy Autumn day.
The gathering reluctantly disbursed just after 12 midday, with several people reminding each other that ‘the clocks go back in the morning’, adding ‘one good thing about it is: we get an extra hour’s lie in’.
Next Memory Day at the Laindon Library: Saturday 30th November from 10am to 12 noon when we anticipate that the Laindon Archive’s 2020 wall calendar will be available to purchase. We hope to see you all again.
