I was recently shown this photo of my class at Chowdhary School. I am the first one in the first row. It was taken in 1969/70. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the names of my classmates, so if anyone recognises them and could put names to faces, I would be very pleased indeed. Thank you.

Assuming that’s the old Chowdhary Primary School in Basildon? I was there from 1966 to 1971.
I remember teachers like Miss Love (later Mrs Jones), Miss Davis, Mr Fowler the caretaker and Mr Jones the headmaster. Think my memory still serves me well.

Names of a few of the children in my class, which I can still recall, were Colin Dixon, Robert Knight, Melvyn Winch, Nigel Bolton, Robert Wools, Debra Willcox, Lisa Farley and another girl named Valerie, but can’t remember her surname.
I was one of the teachers of some of these children. I was Miss Frost if that means anything to you.
Hi Ellen remember Tracey English well – think bottom next to Bella is me Karen steel and next to Tracey I think is Tracey Taylor and under your Tracey could be Jane Robertson
The girl back row top right on the end is our daughter Tracey English, she said there was a girl called Bella and another black girl named Debbie Charles who went to Canada.
I have asked her to put her fifty year old head on and see if she can come up with any other names.
Is that black girl me, Tracey but known as Bella?
