ANNUAL MEMORY AND PHOTOGRAPHIC DAY – 28TH April 2022

After two years of cancelled Annual Photographic Days, a beautiful day brought out dozens of people to the Manor Mission.
Visitors starting arriving shortly after 11am with many staying for several hours, to enjoy the display, having a chat and enjoying the delicious cakes with tea/coffee provided by Margaret and Jackie of the Manor Mission – Thank you.
The photos as usual created many a discussion with a few people bringing along their own photos. Many thanks to everybody involved in making this popular annual event a success, especially those that travelled a distant, some as far as Australia who were visiting family.
Special thanks to the Manor Mission to allow us to use the hall and to Peter Sloper who came along with his old milk van.

Do not forget we hold a tea/coffee meeting at the library on the last day of the month 10am-12 noon. The next one will be 28th May, this will be followed at 1pm with a short talk on the history of Laindon and District.
